DMN And The Jacket That Can Withstand -200C

Winter is already here for over a month, and some people complain that it's just too cold out there. However, a saying in Norway goes like this: "There's no bad weather, only inadequate gear". And if you are not convinced by it, I invite you to test the DMN Aerogel jacket, which was created to withstand liquid nitrogen and temperatures of up to -200 C.

I recently received the DMN jacket to test and I can say that I am impressed. Everything about it screams quality, from the discreetly hidden pockets up to the stitched logos. However, the functional aspect is the one which matters the most.

Unpacking the Jacket

The jacket was truly packed well, and now I am sorry I did not make a video of the unpacking. It contained an air-tight seal that it was extremely hard to penetrate (I tried to cut it with a scissor for about 30 seconds before realising that it had a slider). Asides, it had the bubble protection and the shockproof black envelope.

Features - What did I like about it?

Sure enough there are many cool jackets out there, so what makes this one stand out? I will tell you about the most important features that I discovered while testing this product. I also want to highlight from my point of view that it's mostly a city jacket, but since it's basically freeze-proof, you can try taking it to the mountains as well.

* Double Zipper

Albeit I believe it's there just for design, it certainly looks great. While 99% of the jackets out there have a single zipper on the same line, this one has two. What's more, it's extremely easy to zip and unzip it, although the zippers are not big. I have just two words here: quality design.

* Quality Interior

You will immediately notice the quality of materials used in this jacket. It looks great on the inside, but also on the outside. In this picture I want to highlight the reflective material used inside and one of the laces that ties to keep the jacket even tighter to your body. I found it to be a great fit for me even without the laces.

* Stitched Details

Since no jacket is complete without some fine details that set you apart from the crowd, this DMN jacket features some leather-stitched logos. This will tell everyone it's a special jacket, and not one that is produced which cheap materials and which can last you for maximum one year.

* Looks Great, Fits Great

I am the type of person who normally doesn't shop online for clothes since I am afraid they would not fit well. I hate doing measurements and I am also rather skinny. However, this jacket was truly a great fit for me from the moment I put it on. What's more, carrying a bag on my shoulder suddenly became more comfortable.

* Plenty of pockets

As I mentioned in the beginning, this jacket comes with 4 pockets on the exterior and one which is carefully hidden on the interior. At first you may live under the impression that there are only 2 pockets outside, but the other 2 are so well-placed that they allow you to do much more. From what I've seen and tried, the lower bottom pockets enable you to keep your hands worm, while the ones are which are on top of them are great for storing different things such as your gloves, winter cap or cigarettes.

The inside pocket is great for storing important things such as your phone, your notes or money.

And if you are the type of person who usually loses things around such as pens or chewing gum packets, then you can use this pocket just as well. You only have to make sure it's not already full :)

What I Didn't Like About It

* The Weight
This jacket feels kind of heavy, although it's normal for a winter jacket. I tested it with a hand scale and it showed 1.115 kgs. I compared it to another very thick winter jacket that I had, and that one weighed 1.4kgs. However, since the DMN jacket has all this special material on it, it actually feels like you have some kind of body armor on you. This makes running and climbing stairs more difficult, so you have to keep this in mind. However, it's definitely not a deal breaker.

Conclusions

If you are the kind of person that enjoys staying outside during winter for extended periods of time, then this jacket is for you. It's built so well that it can withstand liquid nitrogen and even acidic rain. Besides, it looks thick enough to stop a knife from passing through (albeit I didn't test that). One last thing, you will look really cool while wearing it and people will notice that immediately.

Jungle Adventures 2 - An Android Game That is Truly Worth Playing

I want to start off by saying that this review has not been sponsored by Rendered Ideas or anyone else and it simply represents by honest opinion after playing the game.

I downloaded Jungle Adventures 2 one week ago on my 8-inch Android tablet, and since then I can't stop playing it. When I first found it in the Play Store I thought "Eh, it's gonna be just another game for kids or a Super Mario ripoff". But boy was I wrong.

Indeed, if you played Super Mario as a kid, you will find some similarities to it (after all, they are both adventure games). However, Jungle Adventures 2 brings plenty of new elements into the game. You will find yourself dwelling through land, sea and air while making your way as a jungle man in a prehistoric world filled with dangers.

From sharp eagles to hungry sharks, everyone's there to get you. You have to make use jumps, double jumps, parachute glides, and the occasional throw-rocking skills to make your way through. And while dangers are lurking everywhere, you will get some help from time to time from genies, bulls and seahorses.

You will find that maps in this game are very intriguing, but what's even more interesting is how they managed to blend in the physics so well. I played racing games and stunt games on PC that lacked the quality physics used in this game.

Android games are definitely improving with every month, but this doesn't mean that all titles are worth playing. For instance, some games force you to see ads after every level or noticeable achievement, which truly sucks. I understand that those guys need to make a living, but playing with people's nerves like that is never a good idea. This is the reason why some of my friends play their Android games with the internet turned off.

However, Jungle Adventures 2 is very balanced when it comes to advertising. You can play 3 or 4 levels without seeing a single ad (unless you want to in exchange for some power-up). And given that 1 level takes you about 2-3 minutes to complete, it means that ads in this game are not intrusive at all.

I give another point to this game for the fact it doesn't push on you a Premium (VIP) subscription as other games do. This is a trick that works on many kids and teenagers. Some games promote VIP subscription for their game, which removes all advertisements and provides unique perks (special armors, high-power weapons, etc). However, these are usually quite costly, ranging from a 5$ down-payment to 20$ billed on a monthly basis). If an adult has his/her credit card attached to Google Pay and the PIN is saved in the device, then the kid or teenager will be able to buy the subscription without much effort.

In conclusion, Jungle Adventures 2 is a great game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It doesn't matter if you are 10 or 40, if you love adventure games then this one is a must-try.
